Trina Solar
Trina Solar is a leading Chinese producer of solar panels with products and installations reaching across the globe in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. In December of 2008, Trina made the decision to enlist Pure Imagination as their agency of choice for their 2009 marketing initiatives after evaluating several agencies in Europe, North America and Asia.
One of the main factors driving their decision to step up their marketing efforts was the fact that the renewable energy market is continually expanding and their exposure and position in the marketplace was not up to par with their capabilities, products and services.
The first initiative was to redevelop their advertising campaign. In publications that reached across the globe, Trina's ads didn't stand out from the competition and were mainly focused on product features and benefits. Pure Imagination developed a campaign centered on the theme "The Power Behind The Panel" which shifted focus away from product and more towards the expertise and service of Trina as a partner, the environmental aspects of switching to solar power, and the ways Trina helps customers with the transition and implementation of their products.
Additional projects included the design of a product catalog, project catalog, overview brochure, New Years card, website update and tradeshow graphics.
