Sposie, a brand dedicated to providing parents with quality solutions for diaper leaks, partnered with PUREi to produce a comprehensive product video for their line of booster pads. Sposie’s booster pads offer an extra layer of absorbency and comfort, enhancing the diapering experience for both parents and caregivers. To showcase these benefits, PUREi was tasked with creating a 60-90 second product overview video, along with five 15-20 second feature clips optimized for social media. The goal was to capture the product in a warm, lifestyle-focused setting and clearly communicate its benefits to parents.
Project Preparation: Script, Storyboard, and Setting the Scene
The project began with a detailed planning phase to ensure the final video would capture Sposie’s brand essence and clearly convey the benefits of its booster pads. PUREi’s team researched the product and crafted a script that outlined its purpose, features, and advantages in a concise and engaging way. We developed a storyboard to map out each shot, establishing a natural flow that would guide viewers through the video seamlessly.
Creating a setting that would feel both familiar and engaging was essential. PUREi’s team added essential nursery props such as a crib and changing table to stage a functional, everyday scene that would resonate with Sposie’s target audience.
Casting and Filming: Bringing Authenticity to the Screen
Casting was a critical component of this project, as we needed actors who could authentically represent Sposie’s brand values. After a thorough search, we cast a mother and her infant, ensuring the baby was within the specified age range to demonstrate the product’s benefits effectively. This choice brought a relatable touch to the video, as viewers could see how the product functioned in a realistic, everyday setting.
On the day of the shoot, PUREi’s team used a two-camera 4K setup to capture multiple angles and close-ups, enhancing the storytelling and visual engagement. A two-person crew managed professional lighting, grip, and additional equipment like a jib, slider, and gimbal to ensure smooth, high-quality footage. Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere was essential, allowing us to capture natural interactions and candid moments, which highlighted the product’s effectiveness in a gentle, family-friendly way.
Post-Production: Crafting an Engaging, High-Quality Product Video
In post-production, PUREi brought together all the elements to create a cohesive, polished product video. We carefully selected clips that best demonstrated the product’s features, arranging them to communicate a clear progression from problem to solution. Music, voiceover narration, and motion graphics enhanced the storytelling, adding a welcoming tone that complemented the visuals.
