Warne Chemical and Equipment, a trusted provider of industrial cleaning solutions and equipment, came to PUREi with a challenge that many established companies face as they grow: their product catalog process had become outdated, inefficient, and difficult to manage. Their existing catalog was built manually across multiple Microsoft Word documents, making updates time-consuming, error-prone, and nearly impossible to scale.
As Warne’s product offerings expanded, so did the complexity of maintaining accurate and consistent information across their catalog. Version control became a recurring issue, with multiple files needing updates for even the smallest change. Formatting inconsistencies and manual layout adjustments further slowed the process, turning what should have been a straightforward update into a months-long effort. It was clear that their existing workflow was limiting both internal efficiency and their ability to present products professionally to customers.
PUREi approached the project with a focus on transforming not just the catalog itself, but the entire system behind it. Instead of continuing with static documents, we migrated all of Warne’s product data into a centralized database within our data portal. This shift allowed every product detail, from specifications to descriptions, to be in a single, structured source.
With the data centralized, we implemented a dynamic catalog generation system that could automatically paginate and format the entire catalog. What previously took months of manual work was reduced to minutes. The result was a fully designed, 166-page catalog generated quickly and consistently, without the need for repetitive formatting or manual layout adjustments.
Beyond speed, this new approach significantly improved accuracy. Because all product information is managed in one place, updates are made once and reflected everywhere the data is used. This eliminated inconsistencies and reduced the risk of outdated or incorrect information appearing in the final catalog. Warne’s team can now make updates with confidence, knowing their catalog will always reflect the most current data.
The benefits extended beyond the catalog itself. By structuring the data in a flexible, reusable format, PUREi laid the foundation for a more connected digital ecosystem. The same database that powers the catalog is now being used to revamp Warne’s website, ensuring consistency across both print and digital platforms. This integration streamlines content management, reduces duplication of effort, and creates a more cohesive brand experience for customers.
