50 Videos In Two And A Half Months

Discovery Communications contracted with Pure Imagination to produce three educational video series consisting of a total of 50 video segments ready for streaming by the end of 2009. With a breakneck production schedule in hand Pure Imagination was able to produce the entire series in less than 3 months, given little more than an excel spreadsheet outline with subject matter titles for each video.

The three video series covered relevant topics such as STEM Careers (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math), Financial Literacy and Digital Citizenship. The videos were geared towards a K-12 audience with certain segments being aimed at specific age groups, i.e. elementary, middle school & high school.

Pure Imagination did everything on this project, soup to nuts, including coming up with the overall concept, graphic styling and treatment, animation & motion graphics, writing all the scripts, identifying companies, individuals and experts to interview and all the editing and post production, all in-house with Pure Imagination staff. The end result blew away Discovery's expectations with an educational video series that was very informative, effective, relevant and fun.
