Discovery Partners with PUREi to Expand Educational Video Library

Discovery Education is a global leader in standards-based digital curriculum resources for K-12 classrooms globally. They provide award-winning textbooks, multimedia content and a large community for professional development.

Discovery had a very specific need - create three series of educational videos based for the Social Studies, Holidays, and Science curriculums. PUREi was put on the task providing full end-to-end pre-production through post-production services to develop over 60 videos from preliminary topic outlines.

PUREi developed detailed scripts for each video, which outlined each topic and provided examples of visuals. With a plan in place, a custom design was then created to complement the subject matter. Casting, shooting, animation and finishing brought the series to life. The end result was a series of videos with heavy illustration and motion graphic animations that effectively educated viewers on each individual topic and brought information to life.
