JUVO Hires PUREi To Design Fresh New Packaging

JUVO Products, a designer & producer of innovative mobility products for elderly individuals and those with physical restrictions, partnered with PUREi to develop a new direction for the package design. The first project was the redesign of their bed rail product packaging.

The current state of package design for this product market segment was stagnant, with many of the competitors depicting the products in the same manner, focusing on the individual's ailment or disability. We approached the project with a clean slate, offering to depict the product in use in a more positive manner.

We started with developing some sketches of how the product could be shown in a a different manner. Our goal was to convey the product as a means for enabling mobility, self-reliance and individuality. A chosen concept was agreed upon, and a photo shoot was scheduled.

We cast a model for the shoot, secured a residential location and picked the perfect time of day to take advantage of natural light for the photography shoot. The final photos were integrated into a clean, fresh design style with informative graphics and visuals that support the main features as well as communicate quickly how the product is used and installed.
