Pure Imagination Expands Headquarters

Pure Imagination, a full-service advertising, marketing, web development, and video production company, doubles in size to support continued growth and additional personnel.
The new hires include an Interactive Media Specialist, a Senior Web Developer and Summer Intern Graphic Designers. The new expansion provides room for eight new workstations, two closed offices and a video-editing suite, a downstairs photography/video studio, storage for video and photography equipment, a larger lofted conference room, kitchenette, lunch area and an additional restroom.
Owners Len and Andrea Davis of Batavia began and incorporated Pure Imagination in 2000 working out of their home. Their second location was a 400 square foot office in downtown Batavia. In 2002, Pure Imagination was the first tenant to occupy the first section of the historic building renovated by owner Philip B. Elfstrom located at 5 North River Street in Batavia. Pure Imagination now occupies two sections of the three-section building.
The building's architecture features a two-story arched window, limestone front, vaulted ceilings, large conference room loft, fireplace, custom stained and etched glass, an expansive wall of river-view windows and exposed limestone walls. "I think the combination of the characteristics of the building itself and the downtown river-front location are the perfect setting to stimulate creativity," said Andrea Davis.
"We really needed the extra space. We were busting at the seams. We've grown steadily every year. With key people in place we can continue to give our clients the attention they deserve. We receive so many compliments on the building and enjoy the creative atmosphere it provides," said Len Davis.
