PUREi Gives DeKalb Park District Website a Face Lift

DeKalb Park District's mission is to connect the community, enhance the quality of life, and improve the environment, by conserving and protecting natural resources, and providing recreational and wellness opportunities for all members of our diverse community.

Originally, PUREi designed and developed DeKalb Park District's website in 2015. Recently, when DeKalb was looking to update their site, they knew they could turn to PUREi to bring their site to the next level, yet again.

First, we created wireframes or blueprints to layout out the information, showing which pages were going to be carried over to the new site and how it would be reorganized to be more user-friendly. Our next step was to set up our newly updated CMS (Content Management System) with a newly developed file library as well as our news, faqs, calendar, alerts and interactive map modules. Once the front-end and back-end development were complete, we transferred over their desired content from the existing site as well as added new photos and content.

The DeKalb Park District community is thrilled to have a new site to register for the great activities and programs that DeKalb Park District has to offer.
