Walmart, the largest retailer in the world, partnered with eko to make interactive experiences that engage and convert their customers more effectively, using eko’s interactive video platform. Walmart and the eko team were looking for a partner to produce the videos and build out the interactive video platform.
Walmart was facing the acceleration of e-commerce shopping caused by COVID-19. They needed a way to let shoppers to demo and experience their new line of interactive Christmas tree products online before they purchased them.
Planning was the key to this successful project. We started by creating a very detailed shot list explaining each of the key features we wanted to highlight for each tree. During the three-day shoot at a residential home, we assembled and shot ten different artificial Christmas trees and their various unique features including how to control the lights through a mobile app. PUREi's interactive product demo videos allowed customers to see products in action, test core features, and learn about key benefits, ultimately giving them the confidence to buy online.
